The Mains 2018 Result is finally out. A hearty congratulations to those of you who have made it to the Interview List. This is all a result of the efforts you have put in for the past year or so.
Now that you have half reaped the fruits of your hard work, you must make sure that you do not slack at the fag end of your journey and take it to a logical conclusion.
Also, a word of caution and friendly advice to those of our friends, who have made it to the list again.
A battle half won isn’t won.
The Interview requires preparation. Not because it should – as it is a personality test, but because everyone does it so well, you have no clue of the competition.
This is also an opportunity well squandered. Just as they say about UPSC as a whole, your first attempt is your best attempt – this could not be more true for the Interview.
We are undertaking three things for the Interview
#1 Interview Preparation Group for Interview 2018
We shall be forming a focussed group for Interview Preparation for 2018. This has been most effective last year, where we saw nearly every second candidate selected in the final list from this Group. We shall have subjectwise and Home State wise groups for the same. The group link will be sent you by email after you fill up the form below and submit your DAF.

#2 Interview Orientation Meet | 25th December 2018 | 3PM
We shall be holding an Interview Orientation and Preparation meet on December 25. We are conducting meet on holiday so that outstation candidates can also attend it. This will set the stage for us to prepare for the Interview and give a sense of direction for the same. We shall discuss some of the key issues
- Why and how of Interview Preparation
- How to start the preparation
- How questions to expect in the Interview
- How to handle tricky questions
- How to answer questions like “Why IAS?”

#3 Interview Guidance Program 2018
This is a paid program by ForumIAS that consists of (1 Mock Session / 3 Mock Sessions ). Previous students of the IGP include Anudeep Durishetty ( Rank 1), Sachin Gupta ( Rank 3 ), Abhishek Surana ( Rank 10 ). Siddharth Jain ( Rank 11) and more than 300 candidates who made it to the final list.
